Abstract

This website-based learning media was developed to help grade 3 students of MI Al-Islah Sidowayah to understand the material of Indonesian cultural diversity which in the learning process requires the help of a medium to make students know the diversity of Indonesian culture. The objectives of this development research are to, (1) explain the process of developing website-based learning media, (2) explain the level of validity and practicality of website-based learning media learning media and (3) explain the effectiveness of website-based learning media. This type of research is Research and Development, with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) development model adapted from Robert Maribe Branch. The research sample was 19 students of MI Al-Islah Sidowayah grade 3. The data collection techniques applied in this study were questionnaires, pre-test and post-test. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The trial design used by researchers was one group pretest-posttest. The validity test results state that the website-based learning media developed with the Google Sites application meets the criteria of being very valid with a score of 88% from media experts, 90% from material experts and 88% from linguists. This website-based learning media also got good results, the pre-test and post-test scores stated that there was an increase in the average after the website-based learning media was tested from 69 to 87.
